Tax Preparation Pricing
Pricing is based on the complexity of your tax return. The fees listed are a general guide and may change depending on your situation. Final pricing is confirmed in the signed Engagement Letter.

Form 1040 + (1) State Income Tax Return starting at $300
Preparation of one U.S. Individual Income Tax Return and one State Income Tax Return.

Additional State Return $175/return
Preparation of an additional state income tax return (nonresident, part-year, or resident). Common for cross-border workers and multi-state businesses.

Schedule A $100
Itemized deductions, including mortgage interest, property taxes, charitable contributions, and medical expenses.

Additional Credits & Income Schedules $25
Includes Schedule B (Interest & Dividends) and common deduction forms (2441, 8812, 8895, and similar).

Schedule C (Simple) $200
Single 1099-NEC or small cash income with minimal deductions (e.g., mileage, a few expenses). No assets, depreciation, home office, or inventory.

Schedule C (Complex) $300
Multiple 1099-NECs or mixed income sources, multiple deduction categories, assets/depreciation, home office, QBI, or inventory. May include bookkeeping cleanup or year-end summary preparation.

Schedule E $200/property
Rental income and expense reporting, including depreciation, basis tracking, and passive activity loss calculations. Fee applies per property.

Schedule D + Form 8949 (Simple) $100
Capital gains and losses with few transactions, consolidated broker statements, and no adjustments.

Schedule D + Form 8949 (Complex) $150
Multiple broker statements, wash sale adjustments, cryptocurrency, non-covered lots, or other complex reporting.

Depreciation schedules, basis calculations, and asset tracking for business, rental, or investment property.

Declaration of Personal Property $250 / $400
Filed with the town Assessor where property is located. Fee varies by quantity and size of return.

Tax Planning $300/hr (1-hour min.)
Includes strategic review of the timing and size of income, purchases, and expenditures.

All returns are delivered securely as PDF. Printed copies available upon request.
Project Pricing
Short-term: $350/hr.
For specialized, high-impact consulting, such as:
- Multi-state or complex tax planning
- Audit defense and IRS/state representation
- Accounting system selection and implementation (e.g., QuickBooks setup or migration for multi-entity or complex operations)
- Transaction analysis (buy/sell, restructuring, succession)
Long-term: Negotiated on a per project basis.
For extended consulting or recurring advisory arrangements, such as:
Multi-year tax planning strategies
Business restructuring or turnaround projects
Acting as a strategic advisor on financial direction
